リーバイス503Bについて

リーバイス503Bは、1950年代にリーバイス501XXの廉価版として生産されたモデルです。501XXが防縮加工されていないデニムを使用していたのに対し、503Bは**プリシュランクデニム（防縮加工済み）**が使われており、洗濯後の縮みを気にせず穿けるように作られました。

ワタリ: 31.5 cm

裾: 22.5 cm

総丈: 95.5 cm

股下: 68 cm

当時、日本向けに生産された501XXは、縮みによるレングスの違いを考慮して「501XXJ」という品番がつけられていました。しかし、503Bはすでに防縮加工済みだったため、品番の末尾に「J」はつきませんでした。

リーバイス503Bの特徴
バックポケットの隠しリベット: 501XXと同様に、バックポケットの補強のために隠しリベットが使用されています。

赤耳: セルビッジデニム（赤耳）が使われています。

現在、503Bはヴィンテージ市場で非常に人気があり、特に紙パッチのモデルは希少価値が高く、高値で取引されています。

The Japanese-Made Levi's 503B
The Levi's 503B is a model that was produced in the 1950s as a lower-cost version of the Levi's 501XX. While the 501XX used unsanforized denim, the 503B was made with pre-shrunk denim, allowing them to be worn without worrying about shrinkage after washing.

Inseam: 75 cm

At the time, the 501XX produced for the Japanese market were given the model number "501XXJ" to account for the difference in length due to shrinkage. However, since the 503B was already pre-shrunk, the model number did not have a "J" at the end.

Features of the Levi's 503B
Hidden Rivets on Back Pockets: Just like the 501XX, hidden rivets were used to reinforce the back pockets.

Red Selvedge: The jeans were made with selvedge denim (red line).

Today, the 503B is highly sought after in the vintage market. Models with a paper patch, in particular, are extremely rare and command a high price.
